What You'll Do This is a casual, on call role which requires 4 shifts a month. As an inpatient therapist, you hold a vital role in the journey of our patients toward mental wellness. Your responsibilities are to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate psychosocial services tailored to each individual. Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Provide group therapy, family therapy, and individual therapy for assigned patients. May work with children, adolescents, and adults ages 5-35. Coordinates care with other relevant internal and external providers. Available to provide coverage for other Therapists when absent or as the need arises. Contributes to the interdisciplinary team the perspective of their unique training in the area of family systems and/or social work theory. Maintains current competency in effective de-escalation of patients using Collaborative Problem Solving , therapeutic self, relationship-based care, and trauma informed care, as applicable to role. Oriented and educated in gender, cultural differences, and age appropriate care for the assigned department. What Makes You a Great Fit Education: Master's degree or higher and licensure in the State of Minnesota as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPCC) or Licensed Psychologist (LP) required. Previous Experience: Two years previous mental health experience strongly preferred. Experience in intensive psychiatric healthcare settings preferred. Experience using electronic health records preferred. Specific Skills: Ability to maintain required malpractice insurance. Have computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office products including Outlook and Word. Pay range for this position is $39.45- $48.00 hourly depending on education, licensure, and experience.
