Are you a highly skilled CPA with deep expertise in US GAAP, ready to lead the technical accounting function at a high-growth, billion-dollar company? You will work directly with executive leadership, owning complex accounting topics like project capitalization, share-based compensation, and debt accounting, while playing a pivotal role in SEC reporting and compliance.
Required Skills:



  • CPA in good standing
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in technical accounting, Big Four audit, or advisory roles
  • Proven expertise in ASC 360, 470, 606, 710, 718, 810, 815, 842, and 323
  • Experience with SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, S-3) and drafting technical memos
  • Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to translate complex accounting issues into clear, defensible positions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort operating in a start-up environment with a higher risk tolerance


Nice to Have Skills:



  • Experience in energy, infrastructure, or industrials sectors
  • Familiarity with Oracle Fusion, Workiva, and Equity Edge Online
  • Advanced degrees or certifications such as MAcc, MBA, or CFA


Preferred Education and Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's preferred)
  • 5+ years of relevant experience including public company SEC reporting


Other Requirements:



  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic start-up setting with high adaptability
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Dallas, Texas
  • Must be comfortable collaborating with controllership, FP&A, legal, treasury, and external auditors
