BLOCK/ BOOM TRACTOR TRAILER DRIVER

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to)
* Load and operate boom, truck and trailer safely
* Perform daily truck inspection and report needed repairs
* Verify cargo against shipping papers
* Locate and determine efficient and safe route to delivery locations. Driver may be delivering to
remote or undeveloped jobsites which have difficult or tricky access.
* Load trucks and/or customers at yard
* Operate forklift
* Restock inventory
* Maintain positive attitude and interpersonal communication while helping customers.
* Daily cleanup of yard.
* Perform other tasks as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS
* Must have current Class A CDL and current medical card
* Must be able to drive a manual transmission
* OSHA or equivalent Boom Truck Certification preferred
* Must have an acceptable driving record and provide a copy no older than 30 days
* Must have minimum of two years' experience driving commercial vehicle
* Must be able to pass security background check to obtain an unescorted JBER gate pass
* Must be physically able to lift 94lbs and pass a Fit for Duty test
* Concrete properties and construction knowledge are desirable
* Must be or become a member of Teamsters Local 959.
* Must have or be able to get a TWIC card.

BENEFITS
Pay: $43.26 per hour plus Medical and Retirement Benefits per Teamster Local 959 Contract.
