Join our Southwest Healthcare System team of Professionals as Nurse Manager (RN) for Med Surg Tele!

Southwest HealthcareInland Valley Hospital in Wildomar, California, is a licensed 122-bed facility accredited by the Joint Commission. It is Southwest Riverside County's only designated Trauma Center and a county-designated Paramedic Base Station. The hospital performs more than 4,000 surgeries a year, and has an average of 4,000 Emergency Department visits per month.The hospitalfeatures a Bariatric Weight-Loss Surgery Center of Excellence and the region's only Total Joint Center.

POSITION SUMMARY

The MST Manager provides strategic and operational leadership for the Med/Surg/Tele units, ensuring the delivery of safe, highquality patient care. This role oversees daily clinical operations, staffing, budgeting, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement initiatives while fostering a culture of service excellence and professional development. The MST Manager partners closely with Clinical Supervisors, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient flow, maintain labor efficiency, and uphold standards in documentation, patient safety, and core quality measures. They play a key role in staff recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and competency validation, ensuring a skilled and engaged workforce capable of meeting evolving unit needs. With strong criticalthinking skills and adaptability, the MST Manager provides effective leadership during complex clinical situations, supports policy development, and maintains a high level of clinical expertise in telemetry, emergency response, and evidencebased practice.


Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Two (2) years of recent department specific experience required.

Charge nurse, supervisory expertise in department specific required.

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University in related field required.

Master's degree from an accredited College or University in related field preferred.

REQUIRED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS

Registered Nurse with current California RN license.

Current BLS certification.

ACLS certification.

Basic EKG/tele interpretation experience required OR completing a Basic EKG class within six months of employment
