Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Armed Security Officer for State Site in Boston MA

Tuesday - Friday 3 PM - 11 PM and Saturday 11 PM - 7 AM

Starting Pay is $25.88 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

Candidate is Required to Have a Concealed Carry Permit and 1+ Years of Previous Related Experience

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with supervisors and/or public authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential hazards in accordance with site protocols.
• Support public-facing operations by providing directions, assisting with crowd and traffic control, and maintaining a visible presence during routine activities and/or special situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
