THE POSITION

Join the Bureau of Real Estate, Leasing Operations Division as a Lease Contract Specialist 1 and help ensure agencies have the space they need to serve the public. In this role, you will assist with preparing lease documents, researching market information, and supporting negotiations. You will have the opportunity to work closely with staff, lessors, and partners to keep leasing activities moving forward. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Lease Contract Specialist 1, you will be supporting leasing process by preparing documents, coordinating with partners, and assisting with research and site reviews. In this role, you will perform the following duties:
- Lease Preparation: Assist with drafting contracts, amendments, and supporting documents for leasing actions
- Market Research: Review lease rates and site information to support upcoming negotiations
- Record Management: Maintain electronic lease records, upload documents, and run reports in the real estate system
- Communication Support: Work with lessors, agency staff, and counsel to resolve questions and processing needs
- Site Assistance: Participate in site visits, document findings, and help assess space suitability
- Meeting Coordination: Prepare agendas, track updates, and support meetings with agency partners

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. You will be required to report in-office 2 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience performing technical lease contract or property management work; and a bachelor's degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Requirements:
- This position requires possession and maintenance of an active Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent.
Additional Requirements:
- You must possess experience in real estate lease contracts.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
