We are currently seeking a friendly and hard-working Medical Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities

Under direct supervision, the Medical Assistant supports physicians and clinicians with patient care duties in a clinical environment, promoting efficient patient flow and care. Key responsibilities include:

  • Escorting patients to and from exam rooms, physician offices, and treatment rooms
  • Recording patient data prior to each physician visit, including vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication changes
  • Obtaining necessary patient records as required by physicians
  • Preparing and stocking exam/treatment rooms and managing supplies
  • Assisting physicians with exams and procedures
  • Maintaining exam/treatment room disinfection protocols
  • Responding to patient calls and alerting nurses or physicians of abnormal vitals or important patient information
  • Collecting inbound meaningful use data, such as flu documentation and initial height and weight
  • Printing medication lists for patient review

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certificate of graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
