Responsibilities This is a multi-discipline role, encompassing database engineering (primary) as well as software development and some systems administration functions. The candidate designs, develops, builds, analyzes, evaluates, and installs database management systems to include database modeling and design, relational database architecture, metadata and repository creation and configuration management. Writes and tunes SQL queries, stored procedures and triggers for performance and scalability. Implements comprehensive backup and database replication solutions. The candidate will design, develop, and maintain Ansible automation artifacts used to patch and update operational assets, with minimal downtime. In addition to Ansible, the candidate will develop, design, and maintain shell script driven systems and tooling in support of both database management and other operational needs. Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD

Target Salary Range $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
