Systems Architect

Peraton is looking to hire a Systems Architect in the Washington DC Metro area. This role will be a remote position. At times the role will also require travel to the Quantico client site when necessary.

What you'll do:

Develop a complete understanding of Customer's current endpoint protection footprint
• Align organizational security strategy and infrastructure with overall business and technology strategy
• Plan, design and train Customer in maintaining the DCSA infrastructure
• Prepare high and low-level documentation and reports regarding data protection policy, policy revisions and data protection platform architecture in preparation of training of Customer teams and Project handoff
• Draft and finalize HLD and LLD documents following the review with Customer
• Implement industry standard cloud network security practices in support of cloud application migration projects

What you'll need:

• Education: 5 years with a BS/BA degree, 3 years with a MS/MA degree or 9 years of experience in lieu of a degree
• Clearance: active TS/SCI
• 3 years of experience with automated configuration and deployment: Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IAC) frameworks
• 3 years experience with distributed version-control systems: Git/GitHub
• 3 years of experience Scripting (Python, Ansible, Tower) experience
• Implement an automated process for cloud network environment eliminating manual and repetitive tasks
• Certification: Security+ certificate or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of starting with Peraton
• Must be local to the Washington DC Metro Area
