  • Be authorized to work in the United States
  • Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment
  • Be able to work on a W-2 basis. C2C or 1099 is not permitted for this position
  • Be able to work rotating shifts, including being able to work weekends.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join a dynamic team, playing a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and positive experience for every patient. In this position, you will be instrumental in facilitating access to care, managing essential administrative functions, and directly impacting patient satisfaction and operational efficiency. Your work will directly support the smooth functioning of patient services, contributing to the overall success of a compassionate healthcare environment.

What You Will Do:



  • Complete patient admissions and registration processes with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Identify patients' insurance coverage or existing financial resources to ensure appropriate billing and compliance.
  • Handle routine customer service inquiries and concerns, providing clear and helpful information.
  • Process necessary admission and registration paperwork, obtaining all required documents.
  • Assure the secure handling and accurate recording of payments collected at the point-of-service delivery.
  • Develop a foundational understanding of various health insurance coverage options and their related processes.
  • Manage routine patient escalations and perform service recovery to maintain positive patient experiences.
  • Escalate advanced or complex registrations to experienced team members as needed.
  • Greet patients warmly and initiate the registration process, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Maintain professional communication with staff, medical professionals, guests, and patients through various channels including telephone, email, and in-person contact.
  • Meet individual productivity and key performance indicators set by department leadership.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all individuals encountered.
  • Contribute to a combination of responsibilities across various Patient Access Service operations.


Skills & Experience



  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to speak and write effectively at a level appropriate for the job.
  • Ability to work well with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of computer systems and software used in functional areas.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and various health insurance programs.


Nice-to-Have Qualifications:



  • Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish).


The target hiring compensation range for this role is $42.09 - $45.16 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors, including but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
