Job Summary A strategic and relationship driven development professional with demonstrated expertise in fundraising program design, donor cultivation, and leading teams. Skilled in planning, organizing, and overseeing staff efforts to support comprehensive development initiatives. Proven ability to identify prospective donors and implement stewardship strategies that enhance donor loyalty and long-term giving. Adept at collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to design and execute programs that meet evolving organizational needs and revenue goals. Brings strong experience in data management, with a focus on accurate reporting, donor recognition, and maintaining robust donor databases. Known for sound judgment in personnel matters, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while driving successful fundraising outcomes. Essential Functions 35% Fundraising Strategy: Designs development programs, identifies prospects, cultivates relationships, and implements stewardship strategies to drive long-term giving. 20% Program Planning & Execution: Plans, organizes, and coordinates development initiatives while guiding staff efforts 15% Stakeholder Collaboration & Partnership Development: Works with internal teams and external partners to design and execute programs aligned with organizational goals. 15% Data Management, Reporting & Donor Systems : Maintains donor databases, ensures data integrity, and produces accurate reports 15% Leadership, Supervision & Personnel Management: Supports hiring, training, performance management, and applying sound judgment in personnel related matters. Manages competing priorities, ensuring operational efficiency, and supports overall fundraising success. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in marketing, communications or related field and four years of experience performing the full range of fundraising/development activities such as providing program coordination and development support in assigned development area. OR An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered. Desired Qualifications A. College degree or college level classes in Business, Nonprofit management, public administration B. Eight (8) or more years experience working in a leadership role for a nonprofit organization C. Five (5) or more years experience working with CRM databases to generate analytical reports and track necessary data D. One (1) year of full-time relevant MCCCD experience during the previous two (2) years Special Working Conditions Travel to campus during interview/selection process will be at candidate's own expense. Will be required to travel or be assigned to all MCCCD locations. May require numerous evenings or weekends. May require prolonged periods of viewing a computer screen. May be required to lift or carry up to #25 lbs.
