Responsibilities

This position is responsible participating in various studies in LFKRI.

    Perform data analysis as well as instructions from the Researcher
  • Maintain lab cleanliness.

  • Perform data analysis following the Researcher's instructions and asking questions when instructions are not clear to them.
  • Any related duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Education:

  • HS Diploma.

Experience:

  • At least one year of data analysis in college.

Knowledge:

  • Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Depending on the experiments that they will be interacting with they may work with microscopies, shakers, centrifuges, or any other equipment located in a non-biohazards lab. All results from the use of these devices will need to be tracked for later review by various members of the Lab.
  • Needs to have excellent communication skills both verbal and written so that they can provide accurate information to Lab Head, Research Assistants and other members of the Lab as well as other members of the Research Institute.

Any combination of education, training and experience that has supplied the necessary knowledge, skills and experience to perform the essential functions of the job.

For applicants who will perform this position in New York City or Westchester County, the proposed hiring rate is $17.00p/hr. For applicants who will perform this position outside of New York City or Westchester County, salary will reflect local market rates and be commensurate with the applicant's skills, job-related knowledge, and experience.

Unless otherwise specified, all posted opportunities are located in the New York or Greater Tri-State office locations.
