JOB TYPE Classification:Nonexempt Supervises Positions:Yes JOB SUMMARY The Intervention Radiology (IR) Supervisor provides leadership and oversight to assure smooth and coordinated daily flow of the department. Continuously improves Interventional Radiology core processes and manages resources. The IR Supervisor is responsible for the development of the service line by staying updated on best practices, regulatory requirements, and new technologies. This role serves as a clinical and technical leader with a primary focus on technologist practice, procedural excellence, and operational efficiency. The IR Supervisor coordinates daily operations, ensures high-quality patient care, and promotes a culture of safety, accountability, continuous improvement, and alignment with UVACH's ASPIRE values. They also assist in guiding the professional growth and development of each team member they represent through education, training, mentoring, and guidance in their professional journey. This position scrubs, monitors, and floats for IR procedures and helps provide a remarkable experience to patients, families, team members, and providers. COMPETENCIES Patient Care:

The incumbent may be asked to perform additional duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Education: High School Diploma or GED - Required. Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program - Required. Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Sciences, Healthcare Administration, or related field - Preferred Experience:Minimum of 3-5 years of Interventional Radiology or Special Procedures experience - Required. Advanced procedural experience in vascular and interventional imaging - Required. Prior leadership or supervisory experience - Preferred Licensure: Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) - Required. Vascular Interventional (VI) certification - Required. BLS required. Proficient communicative, auditory, and visual skills. Attention to detail and ability to write legibly. Ability to lift/push/pull up to 100 lbs.
