The University of Virginia Information Technology Services is seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to join our collaborative and innovative IT team. This role is ideal for a mid-level developer who enjoys building scalable platform solutions, partnering with business analysts and stakeholders, and translating business needs into effective, sustainable technical outcomes. Position SummaryThe ServiceNow Developer plays a key role in enhancing and maintaining UVA's enterprise IT service management capabilities. This position is responsible for developing, configuring, and supporting scalable ServiceNow solutions that align with organizational needs and ServiceNow best practices. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in JavaScript development and hands-on experience administering and developing within the ServiceNow platform. This role requires strong collaboration skills, technical troubleshooting expertise, and the ability to translate business requirements into sustainable technical solutions. Responsibilities

This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs. Salary RangeThe anticipated hiring range for this position is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Position Type & Work LocationThis is a full-time, benefited position. This position qualifies for full remote work. This position is exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
