Role Summary:
A government-sector client is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and execute automated database testing solutions. The role focuses on ensuring database quality, integrity, performance, and reliability through automated testing frameworks, test planning, defect management, and collaboration with development and database administration teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop automated database test scripts and frameworks.
• Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test execution strategies.
• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Validate data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across database systems.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects.
• Collaborate with developers, database administrators, and business stakeholders.
• Monitor database performance and recommend improvements.
• Maintain testing documentation and automated testing processes.
• Support quality assurance activities throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of QA Automation and Database Testing experience.
• 8+ years designing automated test scripts and execution plans.
• 8+ years creating test plans, test cases, and test environments.
• 8+ years performing functional, application, and regression testing.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and development methodologies.
• Experience interpreting business and technical requirements and updating test documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Experience working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and support testing cycles as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience with government project delivery frameworks and related documentation templates.
• Familiarity with enterprise information architecture and information management methodologies.
• Knowledge of software architecture, infrastructure components, and enterprise technology environments.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong database testing expertise.
• Experienced in test automation strategy, execution planning, and defect management.
• Comfortable working in complex enterprise environments with cross-functional teams.
