Job Title: Top Secret SME (Mainframe Security / Application Support)

Position Summary
Seeking an experienced Mainframe Security professional with strong CA Top Secret expertise to provide security administration, access management, and application support services in a staff augmentation environment. The role combines mainframe security administration with Natural/COBOL application support and operational support responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and support CA Top Secret security environment.
  • Process user access requests, modifications, and removals.
  • Troubleshoot authentication and access-related issues.
  • Support Natural and COBOL applications, including incident resolution, maintenance, and minor enhancements.
  • Manage incident, request, and service task ticket queues.
  • Support general mainframe operations, production issues, and batch processing activities.
  • Assist with audits, compliance reviews, and access certification activities.
  • Ensure application access complies with established security controls.
  • Support enterprise mainframe key rotation activities conducted twice annually.
  • Perform mainframe certificate renewals.
  • Support started task accounts and related security administration.
  • Manage batch processing and scheduling activities using CA7.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience with CA Top Secret administration and security.
  • IBM z/OS mainframe experience.
  • Natural application support experience.
  • COBOL application support experience.
  • Mainframe security administration background.
  • Experience in ticket-driven production support environments.
  • Knowledge of access provisioning and Identity & Access Management (IAM) concepts.
  • JCL (Job Control Language) experience.
  • CA7 job scheduling and batch processing experience.

Preferred Skill

  • RACF and/or ACF2 experience.
  • IAM tools such as SailPoint, NetIQ, or similar platforms.
  • Audit and compliance support experience.
  • Salesforce (SFDC) exposure.

Work Authorization

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States or Canada.
  • US-based candidates are preferred.
