Job Summary

The Loader is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations through the accurate loading of delivery vehicles, product handling, repackaging, inventory support, and warehouse maintenance activities. This role ensures products are loaded safely and accurately, inventory is properly rotated, and warehouse cleanliness standards are maintained. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of performing physical warehouse duties in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Job Responsibilities



  • Load delivery trucks accurately and efficiently according to daily distribution requirements.
  • Verify products and quantities prior to loading to ensure order accuracy.
  • Confirm trucks are loaded according to delivery schedules and operational requirements.
  • Rotate products in trucks and warehouse storage locations according to inventory rotation and expiration date guidelines.
  • Repackage products in accordance with established warehouse standards and procedures.
  • Inspect products for damage and report discrepancies or quality concerns.
  • Assist with inventory handling, stock movement, and warehouse organization activities.
  • Properly dispose of approved damaged or expired products following established procedures.
  • Support daily warehouse cleaning and housekeeping activities.
  • Dispose of trash and maintain clean, organized work areas.
  • Sweep warehouse floors and operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers as required.
  • Assist warehouse personnel with material handling and operational support tasks.
  • Follow all safety procedures, warehouse policies, and operational guidelines.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.
  • Perform additional warehouse duties and special projects as assigned.


Job Requirements



  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous warehouse, loading, distribution, inventory, or material handling experience preferred.
  • Ability to accurately load and organize products for delivery.
  • Ability to perform repetitive lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to support multiple warehouse functions.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding warehouse environment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the workday.


Education



  • High school diploma or GED preferred.


Work Experience



  • Previous warehouse, loading, distribution, inventory, shipping, receiving, or material handling experience preferred.
  • Experience loading trucks and preparing products for delivery preferred.
  • Experience with inventory rotation and warehouse organization preferred.
  • Experience maintaining warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping standards preferred.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
