Job Summary

The Sales Advisor / Brand Ambassador is responsible for promoting customer programs through direct, face-to-face engagement and enrollment activities across a variety of community, retail, and event-based locations. This role focuses on generating customer interest, educating prospective participants on program benefits, and driving successful enrollments while delivering an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate is outgoing, self-motivated, and results-driven, with strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse audiences. Success in this role requires professionalism, accountability, adaptability, and the ability to meet individual and team performance goals in a customer-facing environment.

Job Responsibilities



  • Engage prospective customers through face-to-face interactions in retail, community, and event-based environments.
  • Educate customers on program features, benefits, eligibility requirements, and enrollment processes.
  • Generate customer interest and successfully enroll eligible participants into designated programs.
  • Meet or exceed individual and team enrollment, engagement, and performance goals.
  • Deliver a positive, professional, and customer-focused experience during all interactions.
  • Utilize program materials, marketing collateral, and technology tools to support customer education and enrollment activities.
  • Provide feedback regarding customer engagement, program effectiveness, and marketing materials.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, enrollments, and outreach activities.
  • Support sales and marketing initiatives designed to increase program awareness and participation.
  • Collaborate with team members, team leads, and program managers to share best practices and improve performance.
  • Monitor market trends and customer feedback to support ongoing program enhancements.
  • Maintain merchandise displays, promotional materials, and designated program areas to ensure a professional presentation.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with event hosts, site partners, and community stakeholders.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety requirements, and site-specific regulations.
  • Attend required meetings, training sessions, and program events as scheduled.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Job Requirements



  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of sales, customer service, brand ambassador, marketing, community outreach, or other customer-facing experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Ability to engage effectively with customers in face-to-face environments.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
  • Comfortable speaking with large numbers of prospective customers daily.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic proficiency with smartphones, tablets, and digital enrollment platforms.
  • Ability to learn and communicate program information accurately and effectively.
  • Results-oriented mindset with the ability to achieve performance goals and objectives.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and various days of the week as required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Reliable transportation preferred.
  • Ability to travel throughout assigned service areas as needed.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in various event, retail, and community settings.


Education



  • High school diploma or equivalent required.


Work Experience



  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in sales, customer service, marketing, brand ambassador, community outreach, retail, hospitality, or other customer-facing roles preferred.
  • Experience generating leads, customer acquisition, or enrollment activities preferred.
  • Experience promoting products, services, or programs through direct customer engagement preferred.
  • Experience working at events, retail locations, community outreach programs, or promotional campaigns preferred.
  • Phone sales or inside sales experience is a plus.
  • Brand ambassador or field marketing experience is highly preferred.
