Prototype Vehicle Technicians - Welding, Assembly & Paint

Location: Raymond, OH

Pay Rate: $24.00-$25.00/hour

Temp Opportunity

We are hiring Prototype Vehicle Technicians to support advanced automotive build projects in a fast-paced engineering environment. Openings are available for Welding Technicians, Vehicle Assembly Technicians, and Paint Technicians. Candidates with strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Available Roles & Responsibilities:

Welding Technician

* Perform MIG/TIG welding on prototype vehicle structures and components

* Read engineering drawings, weld symbols, and blueprints

* Support fabrication, fit-up, and structural modifications

* Inspect weld quality and ensure compliance with specifications

Vehicle Assembly Technician

* Assemble prototype vehicles to engineering specifications

* Install mechanical, electrical, and interior components

* Troubleshoot fitment issues and perform rework as needed

* Use hand and power tools in a production environment

Paint Technician

* Prepare vehicle surfaces through sanding, masking, and cleaning

* Apply primer, basecoat, and clearcoat finishes

* Perform touch-ups and refinishing work

* Maintain high-quality appearance and finish standards

Qualifications:

* Previous automotive, manufacturing, welding, assembly, or paint experience preferred

* Ability to follow work instructions, technical drawings, and specifications

* Strong attention to detail, safety, and quality

* Reliable attendance and positive attitude required

* Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work around vehicles for extended periods

* Flexibility to work overtime with short notice as needed
