This position will be based in Kingston, NC.

All about the role:

The Service & Receiving Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing service and receiving teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role promotes a positive work culture while driving performance against key performance indicators (KPIs). The supervisor collaborates with cross-functional teams to support and sustain Electrolux's long-term business objectives at the Kinston facility and globally.

What you'll do:

  • Supervise and lead team members by planning, assigning, and directing daily work activities.

  • Adjust staffing and schedules to align with production demands.

  • Coach, mentor, and develop employees; conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.

  • Administer corrective actions and ensure employees receive proper training.

  • Enforce safety standards, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • Communicate company policies, procedures, and performance expectations clearly.

  • Monitor and ensure quality and output meet established standards and targets.

  • Analyze production schedules and forecast labor requirements.

  • Maintain accurate and timely production, quality, and operational records.

  • Coordinate workflow and activities across departments and with other supervisors.

  • Identify, analyze, and resolve operational issues; support team members in problem-solving.

  • Recommend and implement improvements to production processes, equipment, and quality outcomes.

  • Respond to and manage emergency situations (e.g., equipment failure, safety incidents, schedule changes).

  • Drive performance across key metrics including safety, quality, cost, delivery, and continuous improvement.

  • Ensure compliance with Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and ISO standards (9001, 14001, 50001).

  • Support and promote plant energy policies and sustainability initiatives.

  • Identify and manage Significant Energy Uses (SEUs) and track performance indicators.

  • Contribute to energy management objectives and execution of improvement action plans.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Minimum 5+ years of leadership experience in high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing environments

  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence, coach, and collaborate cross-functionally.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and improve operational performance.

  • Highly organized with strong multitasking and prioritization skills in deadline-driven environments.

  • Working knowledge of ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems, including SEUs, energy policy, performance metrics, and operational controls.

  • Forklift certified; strong focus on safety compliance and operational efficiency.

  • Capable of obtaining EMS Green Gear Certification.
