GeorgiaPacific is seeking an Electrical Supervisor for our plywood mill in Madison, GA. This role is responsible for leading the plant's electrical production function and supervising electrical and supporting staff in a manner that supports and strengthens PrincipleBased Management, fosters teamwork, and delivers strong operational results.

The ideal candidate is a selfdriven leader with a passion for safety excellence, manufacturing performance, and customer focus. As the Electrical Supervisor, you will positively influence others by promoting employee involvement, ownership, and accountability while proactively identifying hazards and implementing effective mitigation strategies. This role provides critical input to the site leadership team and plays a key role in improving safety, reliability, and overall mill performance.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the Madison Electrical team to achieve injuryfree and incidentfree performance in a continuous manufacturing environment consistent with the management philosophy and framework.
  • Supervise and coordinate electrical department activities that drive improvement in EHS, compliance, reliability, quality, production, and cost performance.
  • Support production processes to align and optimize manufacturing operations in delivering value to the business.
  • Develop and grow employees through coaching, skill development, problemsolving, performance management, and accountability.
  • Drive safety excellence by promoting employee involvement, ownership, and accountability, proactively identifying hazards, and implementing effective mitigation strategies based on risk.
  • Monitor the quality of electrical craft work and provide direction to crew members to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assist with troubleshooting electrical and productionrelated issues to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
  • Provide safety training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and timely completion of reports.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Supervisory and/or electrical experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or military environment.
  • Experience with remote troubleshooting.
  • Working knowledge of electrical and control systems, including AllenBradley PLCs.
  • Experience leading improvement efforts in Reliability, Predictive and Preventive Maintenance, and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Associate degree or higher in a related technical field.
  • Experience in a wood products manufacturing environment.
  • Prior experience as an Electrical Supervisor or similar leadership role.
  • Experience with power distribution, AllenBradley PLCs (Studio 5000), AllenBradley drives, PanelView HMIs, and robotics.
