Join our Legal Entity Control team, a trusted partner to the business, responsible for delivering high-quality financial control, reporting and insight across designated legal entities. The team plays a critical role in maintaining a robust control environment while enabling informed decision-making through clear financial analysis.
While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require 3 days a week in our office location.

What role will you play?

You will act as a financial controller for the Commodities and Global Markets division. You will support the Futures business by managing balance sheet and P&L analysis, executing month end close, preparing financial statements, regulatory reports, and providing audit support. Leveraging your expertise in financial reporting, you will ensure accurate accounting treatment for new transactions, products, and restructures. You will also contribute to process improvement initiatives, strengthening controls and driving consistency across the function.



What you offer

  • Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, including preparation of financial statements and analytical commentary at a subsidiary and business level
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS (preferred)
  • Strong balance sheet control mindset, with experience in reconciliations, impairment reviews, and attestation of financial balances
  • Proven ability to engage with senior stakeholders and present financial performance insights clearly and confidently
  • Experience working within complex corporate structures, including intercompany transactions, cash settlements and FX considerations
  • A continuous improvement approach, with experience enhancing processes, systems and controls to mitigate financial risk and improve efficiency
