Job Description

Shift:Night shift
Schedule:6:00 PM to 6:00 AM; 2/2/3 rotating schedule
Pay Rate:$20.10
Shift Premium:$1.00



Position Summary:
Responsible for setting up and running 10-color quick-changeover flexographic printing presses and producing a quality product according to department procedures and standards. Works safely and follows all department and plant safety rules.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Performs pre-setup checks to ensure orders are prepared to the outlined specifications.
  • Sets up the machine according to department procedures and performs all required quality checks.
  • Makes necessary adjustments to the machine while in production, performs quality checks required while in production, and helps with other job tasks required to keep the machine in production.
  • Keeps up with incoming raw materials and material produced on the machine.
  • Completes all required department paperwork.
  • Troubleshoots printing issues and escalates to department management in a timely manner.
  • Ensures that housekeeping in the press and surrounding areas is clean and that WPO standards are followed.
  • Notifies maintenance and department management of all repairs needed on equipment.
  • Working alongside other departments to ensure accuracy and product delivery
  • Assist with any maintenance repairs and report non-functioning equipment.

Qualifications

Required:



  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in manufacturing
  • Computer knowledge; 1-2 years of Windows applications experience.
  • Ability to use various quality equipment tools such as: microscope, micrometer, and tape measure.
  • Radiation certification preferred.
