SUMMARY OF POSITION


We are seeking a motivated summer intern with strong communication skills to join our Human Resources team in York, PA. The HR Intern provides administrative and recruiting support by conducting phone screens, coordinating interviews, managing candidate communications, and maintaining applicant records in BambooHR. This role requires strong communication, organization, and attention to detail, along with the ability to handle confidential information and support a fast-paced HR team.

TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS



  • Conduct initial phone screenings to evaluate candidate qualifications and fit.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Monitor and respond to inquiries through the recruiting helpline.
  • Maintain candidate records and update applicant tracking system (BambooHR).
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team and Director, including data entry, document preparation, and general coordination tasks.



REQUIREMENTS



    • Strong communication skills (phone, email, and professional follow-up).
    • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Comfortable working with confidential information.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
    • Ability to learn new systems quickly (e.g., applicant tracking systems).
    • Self-motivated with a willingness to support a fast-paced team.
    • Bilingual is preferred.
