Job Summary: The TA Training Specialist is responsible for the strategic design, delivery, and continuous evolution of training programs that drive commercial excellence for the Lymphomas and Solid Tumor sales team. Partnering closely with the Business Unit Lead for Sales Training for Sales Training, this individual develops and executes a comprehensive training curriculum that ensures field teams are equipped with deep product knowledge, disease state expertise, and a thorough understanding of the marketing landscape and competitive environment. The TA Training Specialist brings strong facilitation and communication skills to every interaction, creating learning experiences that are engaging, relevant, and directly connected to field performance.

They continuously assess training effectiveness and evolving programs to meet the changing demands of the marketplace, field dynamics, and business priorities. Through a commitment to coaching, collaboration, and continuous improvement, this role plays a critical part in driving sales force effectiveness and advancing the overall success of the commercial organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Training Strategy & Curriculum Development
    • Develop training materials and learning experiences that are scientifically accurate, commercially relevant, and compliant with MLR standards.
    • Design, develop and execute a comprehensive training strategy for new hires, tailored to the unique needs of diverse commercial teams.
    • Partner with Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Market Access to ensure training content reflects the most current and strategic messaging.
    • Design and develop a suite of impactful sales enablement resources - including workshops, simulations, and digital learning experiences, grounded in adult learning principles that drive knowledge retention and field application.
    • Manage all aspects of project execution and vendor partnerships - ensuring deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with the overall learning strategy.
  • Onboarding & Continuous Learning
    • Oversee onboarding of new hires to ensure teams are prepared for Initial Phase Training and product certifications.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration
    • Partner closely with the BU Lead for Sales Training to align training strategies with broader commercial and business objectives.
    • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Commercial Operations to ensure an integrated and cohesive approach to field readiness.
    • Serve as a key contributor and strategic partner during the planning and execution of national training meetings, product launches, and regional meetings to create field sales readiness for the Lymphoma and Solid Tumor team.
  • Metrics & Impact Assessment
    • Assess the effectiveness of training programs through metrics, field observation, knowledge assessments, and performance data.
    • Continuously evaluate and refine training content and delivery methods to meet evolving marketplace and field dynamics.
    • Provide regular reporting and insights to senior training leadership on program effectiveness and field readiness.
  • Compliance & Governance
    • Ensure all training materials and programs adhere to Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) review standards and industry compliance requirements.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory guidelines governing pharmaceutical sales training and promotional practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, or related field (master's preferred)
  • 3- 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience with a strong record of performance, preferably in Oncology/Hematology.
  • 2+ years of pharmaceutical training, coaching, or field leadership experience, with demonstrated knowledge of adult learning principles and the ability to apply them to the design and delivery of impactful learning solutions.
  • Deep knowledge of Oncology/Hematologyspecific disease states, treatment landscapes, competitive environment, and access pathways.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical commercial operations, including sales, marketing, and market access.
  • Ability to design and deliver engaging training programs that drive measurable field performance.
  • Experience navigating the MLR review process and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in LMS platforms and digital learning tools
  • Ability to travel up to 30- 50%, including field visits, sales meetings, and training events.
  • Experience in Oncology/Hematologytraining, market access, and commercial operations
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with different learning platforms, instructional design tools, and integration of AI technology.
