Post-Production Media and Data Manager (Level III)
Location: Culver City, CA (Hybrid)
Duration: 9-Month Contract
Pay Rate: $48.95/hour
Summary
A leading entertainment and streaming organization is seeking a detail-oriented Post-Production Media and Data Manager to support marketing post-production operations for high-profile streaming content campaigns. This role will partner closely with creative, editorial, operations, and post-production teams to manage the sourcing, tracking, delivery, and archival of media assets used in trailers, TV spots, promos, and other marketing materials. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and brings strong organizational skills, technical knowledge of digital media workflows, and experience working with asset management systems in entertainment marketing or post-production environments.
Responsibilities
- Identify available audio/video source materials and facilitate distribution to creative agencies, editors, finishing vendors, and post-production partners
- Track media deliveries for offline editorial, finishing, and final production workflows
- Source and maintain information related to titles, versions, deliverables, schedules, and asset metadata
- Create and manage media orders and work orders for finishing vendors and post-production teams
- Coordinate with marketing operations, distribution, asset management, and preservation teams to ensure accurate fulfillment of deliverables
- Update metadata and revise media orders as project needs evolve
- Generate preview links and facilitate access to marketing assets for cross-functional stakeholders
- Source finished marketing assets for internal teams and archival purposes
- Pull finalized assets from Box or related storage platforms for vendor archival and creative reference
- Manage and maintain campaign asset trackers and support accurate work order creation
- Submit title and variant requests and collaborate with post-production supervisors to verify asset distinctions
- Track asset requests and deliveries within internal databases and DAM/MAM systems
- Communicate issues related to missing, corrupt, or incorrect media files and coordinate resolution
- Ensure external vendors meet content security clearance requirements for pre-release materials
- Assist with vendor onboarding and profile management
- Support departmental initiatives including Airtable migration efforts, meeting documentation, metrics tracking, folder organization, and special projects
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience working with digital media in a post-production environment
- Prior experience in entertainment marketing, studio environments, post-production vendors, or creative agencies strongly preferred
- Understanding of film and television production and post-production workflows
- 3+ years of experience using Digital Asset Management (DAM), Media Asset Management (MAM), or Production Asset Management (PAM) systems
- Experience creating, fulfilling, and tracking work orders and asset requests
- Familiarity with digital video/audio file formats and delivery workflows
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently
- Experience working with spreadsheets, databases, and media tracking systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Xytech order management systems preferred
- Airtable experience preferred
