Detailed Description:

  • Performs regular and scheduled maintenance on hydraulic fracturing equipment to ensure it remains in good working order.
  • Conducts repairs on equipment in the field using hand and power tools.
  • Installs and configures electronic and electromechanical equipment and instrumentation.
  • Assembles, installs, or repairs wiring, electrical, and electronic components.
  • Suggests improvements for better utilization and operation of equipment and encourages employees to provide feedback.
  • Travels to locations to perform emergency repairs on electronics and equipment.
  • Diagnoses electrical problems and determines solutions using wiring schematics, repair manuals, and part catalogs.
  • Inspects, operates, and tests equipment and components to diagnose malfunctions.
  • Tests equipment at the manufacturer's facility to ensure it meets company standards before field deployment.
  • Documents repairs, inspections, and testing for all equipment.
  • Maintains a safe work environment, adhering to all QHSE requirements at all times.
  • Mentors and trains less experienced Electronic Technicians.
  • Helps train operations personnel in the proper use and care of related equipment.
  • Performs other related duties as requested.

Job Requirements:
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficient in using electronic test instruments and tools.
  • Extensive knowledge of instrumentation such as flow meters, transducers, densimeters, and controllers.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Proficient in using OEM software to configure and troubleshoot related equipment.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic applications controlled by electronic components and systems.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and drawings.
  • Knowledge of data transmission protocols and equipment networking.
  • Familiarity with radio communications.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety manuals, operations instructions, and policies/procedures.
  • Ability to write reports and correspondence and effectively present information to coworkers, customers, or management teams.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics for troubleshooting components.
  • Understanding and application of basic electrical theory and circuit principles.
  • Works effectively in a positive team environment.
  • Promotes safety awareness and follows quality, health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.

Language Comprehension:
Must understand and speak English at a level sufficient to issue, receive, and respond to both safety and operations-related directions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 4-5 years.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • PAC Premier Certification.
  • CPR Certification.
