Job Summary Work at workstation on roller production and packaging line Essential Functions Operate roller equipment in specialty department including peripheral and other related coatings equipment. Retrieve raw material from staging areas and confirm correctness. Set up and make adjustments to machines and inspect pallets and product for damage and reject as necessary. Request maintenance help when needed. Move pallets and distribute in Finished Goods area and scan pallet barcode placards for inventory purposes. Scan work orders and material / labor completions when necessary. Complete basic production log to including line changeovers or QC reports when applicable. EXPERIENCE/ EDUCATION Minimum High School diploma or equivalent Some experience in a production environment is desirable KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ ABILITIES Knowledge of line production, packaging procedures and equipment Knowledge of safety rules and procedure Ability to check quality and ensure finished goods meet acceptable specifications Ability to visually inspect labels and stickers for correct identification of products Knowledge of equipment control systems SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS May be required to work shifts and weekends Our Commitment to a Culture of Inclusion and Belonging We believe a workplace that encourages and values different voices, perspectives, and backgrounds builds better teams, better solutions, and more innovation.
