Maintenance Mechanic II-3rd Shift

dormakaba is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic II based in Indianapolis, IN. This position is responsible for performing a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks in the repair and maintenance of mechanical machinery, including the design and manufacturing of certain machine components.

This position is Third Shift (9:30PM - 6AM) with a base pay range of $29/hr. - 35/hr. Mandatory overtime may be required as needed. (Pay rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data). $2,000 Sign-on Bonus (details provided during interview)

• Inspect, test, adjust, maintain, and repair all physical plant mechanical machinery and diagnose and correct mechanical issues
• Complete necessary departmental documentation to support a preventive maintenance program to maintain production machinery and equipment in proper working conditions and perform machine maintenance according to this program
• Interface with other departments to ensure timely completion of repairs and routine maintenance to minimize downtime and increase productivity
• Periodically check crib inventory stock levels to ensure machine parts necessary to perform duties are on hand
• Perform quality related duties and responsibilities

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Solid math skills associated with the completion of high school math sequence
• Proven maintenance experience and previous skills/experience with personal computers
• Ability to read blueprints, repair manuals, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics
• Ability to respond in emergency situations involving machine operations and clearly evaluate problems under pressure
• Ability to disassemble machines, equipment or devices to remove and replace defective parts and experience using of power tools including saws, grinders, and mills

• Basic electrical troubleshooting skills
