SUMMARY

The IT Specialist II is responsible for maintaining and supporting all technology infrastructure while also managing internal media production initiatives, including podcast production, training videos, and audiovisual systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Service Desk:

* Tier 1 and beginning Tier 2 support for all end users

* User onboarding/offboarding

* Install, configure, and replace desktop, laptop, and mobile hardware

* Troubleshoot end-user hardware and software issues

* Basic administration to Microsoft 365 environment

* Basic administration to Microsoft Entra ID users, permissions, MFA, and device policies

* Maintain printers, workstations, and warehouse technology systems

* Coordinate inventory and lifecycle management of IT assets

* Connectivity troubleshooting

Media & AV:

* Maintain documentation for systems and procedures

* Record on-site construction and training videos

* Operate cameras, audio, lighting, and production equipment

* Edit video content for training and internal distribution

* Produce and manage weekly podcast recordings

* Handle podcast audio/video editing and publishing workflows

* Manage media storage, backups, and production assets (Cameras/Mac Studio)

* Ensure Audio/Visual (A/V) equipment functionality and maintenance for multiple areas

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

None.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Troubleshooting all basic MacOS, iOS and Windows OS issues

* Experience with Servers, Virtual machines and Microsoft managements products such as Active directory, entra etc.

* Minimum of 2 years broad scope Helpdesk experience

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

* Associate's degree in information systems or related field preferred

* Minimum of 1 year of A/V equipment experience preferred

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Efficient with MacOS

Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint and OneNote.

PeopleSoft, Oracle HCM experience is beneficial.
