I. JOB OVERVIEW
| Job Description Summary: |
Reporting to the Scheduling Director, the University Ticketing Manager will manage all aspects of ticket operations for non-Athletic events at the George Washington University. This would include ticket fulfillment, customer service, box office operations, and sales reporting. The University Ticketing Manager will be a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a passion for improving ticketing efficiencies and experiences for events at the University.
Job Description Summary/Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for events through the entire ticketing process
- Manage daily ticket sales, deposits and reconciliation, and prepare reports and financial settlements
- Point of contact for all ticket-related questions and box office inquiries
- Assist in the development of ticket policies and procedures across venues
- Collaborate with Athletics on ticketing policies and procedures
- Develop full knowledge of the Ticketmaster system
- Works events in all venues as needed
- Collaborate with staff and clients/promoters for all ticketed event needs
- Supervises Box Office/Ticketing staff
- Knowledgeable of current industry standards and trends
Performs other work-related duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position. |
| Minimum Qualifications: |
Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization plus 6 years of relevant professional experience, or, a Master's degree or higher in a relevant area of study plus 4 years of relevant professional experience. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. |
