Position Summary Perform repetitive inspection following standardized methods and procedures. Visually inspect or check parts using a variety of precision measuring instruments or against fixed samples. Check dimensions against blueprint or work order specifications. This role may work in other departments as needed. Key Responsibilities Ability to use basic inspection instruments. Ability to read and understand basic product specifications and work instructions. Accurately record inspection results and maintain detailed records of testing processes and outcomes. Identify and document any non-conformances or deviations from standards. Must be cross-trained and able to support all Quality Inspector I roles. Required Skills and Qualifications Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to use and accurately read measuring devices (tape measures). Ability to use hand tools (hammer, wrench, level, etc.). Ability to follow blueprints. Ability to read and interpret Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures. Ability to use a computer with basic proficiency (data entry). Performance Expectations Comprehend and follow instructions. Perform assigned tasks. Maintain an appropriate work pace. Maintain accuracy in work completed. Support continuous work culture. Work in other departments as needed. Work Environment The position is based in a manufacturing facility, which may involve exposure to loud noises, varying temperatures, and dust from production processes. The position will be working in a brightly lit area. Associates will frequently work near or with machinery with moving parts, following strict safety protocols. The facility operates on shift schedules with potential for overtime, including weekends, based on production needs.
