About the PositionThe Compliance Specialist ensures Ameren's compliance, processes all aspects, and administers policies involving, Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and Sick Leave Control Agreement (SLCA). Understands, interprets and communicate regulations and administers the related processes, while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality and integrity to safeguard the Company's position on confidential matters and ensure compliance with company policies, state and federal regulations and collective bargained agreements. Key responsibilities include:
Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Business Administration, Human Resources or related degree, from an accredited college or university. Three or more years of experience in Human Resources, Labor Relations, FMLA, or equivalent office administration (i.e. report analysis, time reporting systems, regulatory, human capital management systems) required. Project and/or team leadership experience preferred. In lieu of a degree 8 years of relevant experience (listed above) is required In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate: Working knowledge of the MS Office Suite of applications required. Excellent written and verbal communications required to represent the Company in interactions with employees, legal counsel, supervision, regulatory agencies and union representatives. Knowledge of timekeeping, collective bargaining agreements, sick leave rules, arbitration and mediation processes preferred. Experience with demonstrating effective organizational skills, problem solving, customer focus and effectively partnering with management to manage difficult issues and situations required. The ability to multi-task, work with both internal and external clients in an independent and professional manner required. Note that changes to minimum qualifications should be reviewed with and approved at the Officer level. #LI-Hybrid Compensation Range: $71,100.00 - $110,200.00At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
