This role includes providing technical expertise in Electrical Engineering (with specialization in heavy power, high / medium / low voltage design, T&D, or combination thereof) to help lead project development in association with Ameren Power Operations and Company-wide design and project management requirements. The Electrical Engineer will report to the Manager, New Gas Generation Project Execution. Key responsibilities include:
Qualifications
Essential Functions Time spent on site during construction and start-up will be required. This will include exposure to heat and cold temperatures, vicinity to high energy equipment (electrical, controlled combustion, etc.), dust, safe use of electrical / other PPE, and climbing of ladders and steps. Employing safe work practices at all times is a must. Travel to and from outside engineer, vendor, and contractor offices will be required (including overnight and international travel at times) for design reviews, factory acceptance test witnessing, and engineering quality inspections. In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate: Must have demonstrated excellent engineering design, analytical, communications, flexibility, and human relations skills. Compensation Range: $71,100.00 - $172,200.00* This pay range encompasses multiple levels of the role. Career level and compensation depends upon applicant's credentials. At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
