Waste Connections is searching for an Account Payable/Account Receivable Clerk to join our team in South Austin, TX!

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to interact with varying levels of employees and vendors, works efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and is willing to provide support in accounting. Duties and Responsibilities

• Coverage & Support:Temporarily fill in for absent accounting staff
• Transactional Processing:Execute day-to-day accounting duties, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), Collections.
• Adaptation:Quickly learn new operational workflows, software programs, and departmental procedures as assignments rotate
• Experience:Typically 1-3+ years of general bookkeeping or staff accounting experience.
• Software Proficiency:Microsoft Excel.
• Flexibility & Problem Solving:High tolerance for shifting priorities and the ability to seamlessly resolve complex accounting discrepancies.
• Communication:Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills to collaborate with multiple, varied teams and management
