Oak Center Towers-AH is hiring !! Assistant Administrator Full Time/Day Shift - 8:00 am - 4:30 pm/ Mon-Fri Pay Range: $29.58 - $32.00 Summary: This position is responsible for assisting residents, volunteers, vendors, support staff, etc., in all aspects of operations. Additionally, it will oversee resident improvements and property inspections and make applicable recommendations that enhance the residents' quality of life and the upkeep of the property. Essential Function: The duties listed below are essential functions of the position that must be performed to effectively perform the position in at least an acceptable manner as defined by Front Porch. In the future, other duties may be assigned and considered essential functions of the position. *Identify and promptly and effectively resolve operational issues, maintenance needs, resident concerns, leasing, client relations, etc. *Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with residents and owners, acting as the secondary primary point of contact for resident and owner inquiries, issues, and concerns. Address resident complaints and resolve conflicts fairly and professionally, maintaining resident satisfaction and retention. *Participate in the move-in and recertification process of the units. *Monitor the physical aspect of the community and implement corrective actions as required. *Perform common areas inspection and units' semi-annual inspections. *Work closely with maintenance and maintenance assistant staff to ensure a safe environment and that the community complies with all applicable laws and regulations. *Maintain current knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including but not limited to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), state Housing Finance Agency, state and local government agencies, etc. *Maintain risk management strategies and emergency preparedness plans. *Ensure property licenses, permit inspections, etc. renewals occur timely. *Perform all other related duties as assigned. Productivity: *Demonstrated time management and priority-setting skills. *Ability to simultaneously handle multiple priorities. *Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. *Ability to prioritize responsibilities and organize workload to ensure that timeframes are met and the work is completed within deadlines. *Demonstrated ability to define, develop, and analyze performance measures and metrics; exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis. Project Management: *Demonstrated project management skills. *Demonstrated planning and project oversight/management skills. *Demonstrated skills in project plan design and implementation, directing projects, coordinating the work of operational teams, and managing project budgets. Education or Equivalent Qualifications Essential: High School; with 1 year of experience working in affordable housing or a related field Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Business Management; With experience and literacy with the applications used by Affordable Housing communities, such as HUD and/or CTCAC Front Porch is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
