BUSINESS ANALYSIS SR MGR

Verizon recently acquired Frontier and plans to transition non-union Frontier employees into Verizon compensation and benefits programs. This position will be part of that planned transition.

About You

As the SeniorManager of Business Analysis, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our data-driven culture. This position involves not only managing and interpreting large sets of data but also applying advanced analytical methods, including statistical analysis and regression models, to uncover trends and insights. Your work will directly influence strategic decision-making and operational efficiency across the organization. The role demands a balance of technical data science skills, business acumen, and the ability to communicate complex analytical concepts in an accessible manner to stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive data analysis projects, employing techniques such as regression analysis, predictive modeling, and other statistical methods toidentifytrends, correlations, and causal relationships.

• Design and conduct complex data studies and experiments, interpreting results to provide actionable insights and recommendations to executive leadership.

• Ensure the effectiveutilizationofPowerBIfor advanced data analytics, including the integration of statistical tools and methodologies.

• Develop and refine metrics and KPIs that align with businessobjectives, using advanced data analysis tovalidateand adjust these metrics as needed.

• Facilitate the extraction and manipulation of large and complex datasets, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data sources.

• Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to enhance data collection procedures and improve the quality of analytics.

• Championa data-driven culture within the organization, providing training and guidance on data analysis and interpretation to team members and other departments.

• Stay abreast of industry trends in data analytics and business intelligence, continuously exploring new tools, techniques, and best practices to enhance our analytical capabilities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Applied Analytics,AdvancedPhysics, STEM orBusiness relatedMajor,or equivalent experiencerequired.

• 3+ years of experience in hands-on data analytics, including model building and statistical analysis.

• 3+ years of experience in automating reporting and analysis through various BI tools like Power BI and/or Tableauand Power Automate.

• 3+ years of experience using Exceland SQLat an advancedlevel.

• Experience with transformingand cleaningdata withRorPythonpreferred.

• Experience with MS SQL Server, stored procedures, and implementing new databasespreferred.
