Job Summary

The UC Davis Health Information Technology (IT) Division provides fully integrated technology services supporting clinical care, research, education, and administrative functions. IT Infrastructure supports a large, complex environment including data centers, network, compute, storage, end user services, security technologies, and enterprise platforms critical to the health system.

This position provides direct executive-level operational, analytical, and strategic support to the Vice President (VP) of Infrastructure. The VP oversees a broad portfolio of foundational technology services and organizational priorities across multiple functional domains.

In addition to direct support of the VP, this role provides coordinated operational and analytical support to Director's reporting into the VP of Infrastructure, ensuring alignment, communication, and execution across the infrastructure leadership team. The incumbent plays a key role in integrating priorities across multiple functional areas, enabling efficient decision-making and consistent execution of strategic initiatives.

The incumbent serves as a trusted partner to executive leadership, responsible for managing executive workflows, coordinating leadership engagements, and delivering high-quality analysis and communications. This position operates in a fast-paced, high-demand environment requiring exceptional multitasking, prioritization, adaptability, and sound judgment.

The position requires a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented individual who can manage competing priorities, synthesize complex information, and operate effectively with minimal supervision while maintaining the highest level of discretion.

Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience/training
  • Two or more years experience providing analyst support to a team or leader
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Advanced organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, adapt, and execute under tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing executive-level presentations, briefings, and reports.
  • Ability to synthesize large volumes of information into clear, concise summaries for executive consumption.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to support multiple leaders simultaneously (VP and Director-level) while maintaining alignment and responsiveness.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced executive environment.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and data analysis tools.
  • Demonstrated discretion and ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Informatics, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience supporting senior or executive leadership (VP-level or higher).
  • Experience in healthcare IT or large, complex enterprise environments.
  • Experience with data visualization, reporting tools, or dashboard development.
