Bilingual Member Relationship Specialist (Personal Banker) Location: Lake Charles, LA Start Date: June 29, 2026 Pay: $19.00 - $27.45/hour (based on experience) About the Opportunity We are seeking a Bilingual Member Relationship Specialist (English/Spanish) to join a growing, community-focused credit union expanding across Louisiana, Texas, and Colorado. This is a highly member-facing role focused on delivering exceptional service, building meaningful relationships, and helping members improve their overall financial well-being. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong customer service experience who are passionate about financial services, relationship building, and helping others achieve their financial goals. What You'll Do * Deliver a consistent and exceptional member experience with every interaction. * Build strong relationships by conducting needs assessments and recommending tailored financial products and services. * Advise members on financial wellness topics including savings, debt management, credit building, lending options, and digital banking tools. * Assist members with loan applications, including document review, credit history gathering, and coordination with lending teams. * Process daily financial transactions (cash and checks) accurately while adhering to policies, procedures, and fraud prevention standards. * Perform proactive outreach to members and prospects to deepen relationships and generate new business opportunities. * Partner with internal teams and external resources (including mortgage and lending partners) to support members' financial goals. * Participate in branch business development efforts, including community events and lead follow-up. * Support branch operations, including ATM servicing, daily balancing, audits, and reporting activities. * Serve as a resource for team members and assist with training as needed. Required Qualifications * Bilingual in English and Spanish (required). * 1+ years of customer service experience (banking or financial services preferred). * Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills. * Experience with Microsoft Office and general computer systems. * High attention to detail with strong data entry accuracy. * Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, member-focused environment. Preferred Qualifications * Previous credit union or banking experience. * Experience supporting lending or loan processing. * Sales, outreach, or relationship management experience.
