Collateral Loan Reviewer I (Mortgage Assumptions Support) Hybrid - Pensacola, FL (3 days onsite) Schedule: Monday-Friday \| 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST About the Role We're seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused professional to support members through the mortgage assumption and ownership transfer processes. This role blends high-volume phone support, document review, and compliance work, often helping members during important or sensitive life events. * * What You'll Do * Handle 15-20+ inbound calls daily, plus outbound follow-ups * Guide members through the mortgage assumption application process * Respond to email inquiries and maintain accurate loan records * Perform administrative tasks (ordering documents, system notes, follow-ups) * Support processors/examiners by reviewing and validating files * Track applications from initial contact through closing Situations You'll Support * Assisting family members after a borrower's passing * Supporting divorce or ownership transfers * Reviewing documentation for property and title changes * These interactions require empathy, professionalism, and clear communication. Document Review & Compliance * Review legal/mortgage documents (deeds, trusts, POAs, probate filings) * Validate ownership and Successor in Interest status * Ensure compliance with regulatory and investor guidelines * Identify discrepancies and maintain accurate documentation What We're Looking For Required: * Strong phone and customer service skills * Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, phone-driven environment * High attention to detail and organization * Comfortable being on the phone most of the day What Makes You a Great Fit * Empathetic and professional in sensitive situations * Self-motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented * Able to work independently while contributing to a team * Strong communicator with a "go-getter" mindset Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pensacola, FL.
