TEKSystems is currently hiring for a Mortgage Closer in Pensacola, FL! Job Description Oversee the closing and funding of first mortgage and equity loans in compliance with federal/state regulations and business policies. Prepare and deliver loan packages to settlement companies for conventional, VA, and FHA products, and coordinate all aspects of the closing process. Responsibilities * Manage the end-to-end closing and funding of first mortgage and equity loans, ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations and business policies * Review and validate credit packages, title work, property documentation, insurance, and closing conditions for accuracy and completeness * Prepare, review, and distribute closing documents (including Closing Disclosure) while ensuring regulatory compliance (e.g., RESPA) * Coordinate and schedule closings with settlement agents, attorneys, realtors, members, and internal teams while maintaining clear communication throughout the process * Calculate and process loan disbursements, resolve title issues, and prepare completed loan files for post-closing Qualifications * Experience closing first mortgage and/or equity loans in a high-volume, fast-paced environment * Strong knowledge of mortgage lending regulations, including VA and conventional loan programs * Ability to interpret and apply guidelines, policies, and procedures with strong attention to detail * Effective communication skills with the ability to work professionally under pressure with internal and external stakeholders * Proficiency in administrative processes, automated systems, and accurate mathematical calculations Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pensacola, FL.
