Production Planner/Shipping Lead - Endurant division

Job Summary: Assists Endurant Manufacturing with maintaining production schedules, and calendars. Monitors the flow of products through the complete production cycle. Liaison between sales, manufacturing, and supply to ensure customer ship dates. Supervise the Distribution Center at the Bob Bass Building.

Responsibilities:

• Review open sales orders to determine customer requirements
• Notify sales of any schedule impacts to customers, as well expected ship dates for late orders.
• Attend all S&OPs and assist manufacturing in assessing ship dates
• Assist with the expedite order process and assist in determining viability of requests
• Manage change orders and impact to ship dates.
• Support Supply Chain
  
  
  
  • Request Supply Chain to expedite supplier purchase orders as required
  • Coordinate communications between manufacturing and supply chain on material shortages
  
  
  
  
• Complete status reports on order status and late order status
• Performs other duties as required
• Supervise the shipping and receiving personnel at the Bob Bass Building

Job Relationships

• Reports directly to the Endurant Plant Manager
• Works closely with Endurant Supervisors and Endurant Sales Manager

Requirements:

• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of Endurant materials.
• Ability to interact well with manufacturing, sales, supply chain, and quality.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Knowledge of both NetSuite and Salesforce preferred but not required, ability to learn required.
• Minimum HS diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years production planning or working in a production environment.
