Key Responsibilities:

As a Chemist/Engineer, you will...

  • Support project-based lab experiments for our Kynar products (waterborne fluoropolymer-based coatings) as well as work in polymer synthesis
  • Conduct experiments consisting of making formulations and testing them for physical, mechanical, and weathering properties
  • Develop and conduct research plans, while analyzing and communicating results to other team members, research management, and sometimes customers
  • Contribute to testing improvements and upkeep of lab equipment

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science/Engineering or related, coupled with 1-3 years' of industry experience in liquid formulation, application development, and/or synthesis
  • Associate's degree in a technical field, couple with 10 years of industry experience in the same
  • Hands-on laboratory skills, with ability to conduct experiments safely in a dynamic environment
