Summary: This position is responsible to support all tax areas (direct tax, indirect tax, tax controversy and property tax), by leveraging data, automation, and technology to enhance compliance, reporting accuracy, and audit readiness. This role bridges Tax and IT to streamline processes, improve data integrity, and drive efficiencies across multiple tax disciplines. To do well in this role, you need attention to detail, experience in Data Analysis, strong problem-solving skills and great interpersonal skills to allow collaboration amongst different teams. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Requirements: Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below: * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Computer Information Systems or related degree; * CPA or CPA candidate preferred. * Min 5 years prior experience in Accounting, Tax, or IT with a focus on data analytics and business intelligence tools; * Advanced experience with tools such as Alteryx, SQL Server Management Studio, SAP, and Microsoft Power BI; * Experience with data wrangling, transformation, and automation development; * Must be a quick learner with the ability to adjust to multiple demands and address shifting priorities; * Ability to analyze current tax and IT processes and recommend scalable improvements; * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets; * Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams; * Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for business users; * Experience gathering business requirements, designing solutions, and supporting implementation and testing; * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships. . Preferred Qualifications:
Working Conditions: * Usually, normal office working conditions. * Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing. * Occasional overnight travel may be required. * Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
