The Truck Driveris responsible for transporting transformer units and materials to their assigned locations, ensuringtimelydelivery in a safe and efficient manner. Compliance with all safety requirements, transportation regulations and company policies are essential functions of this role.


  • Operate trucks safely, following all traffic laws and adhering to company policies and procedures.



  • Load and unloadtransformer units and materials, ensuring that items are properly secured during transit.



  • Plan and follow the best routes,taking into accounttraffic and weather conditions to ensure timely delivery of goods.



  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections tomaintainits safe operation,identifyingand reporting any mechanical or electrical issues that require attention.



  • Communicate effectively with team members,dispatchersand clients,updating ondelivery statuses andpossible delays.



  • Adhere to safety protocols, such as wearing seat belts and personal protective equipmentwhenrequired.



  • Complete delivery logs and other necessary paperwork accurately andin a timely manner.



  • Communicate courteously with other drivers, pedestrians, and road users.



  • Interacting professionally with clients and notating customer preferences, acting as a contact for the company



  • Compensation is paid by the mile. Drivers can expectto drivean average of1500-2500 milesper week;however,thiscan vary based on business needs.




    • HS diploma/GEDrequired.




    • 2yearsworking experience as a truck driverrequired.



    • ValidClassA CDLrequired.



    • OTR flatbed experiencerequired.



    • Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles required.



    • ELD (Electronic Logging Device)experience preferred.



    • Able to maintain HAZMAT endorsement.



    • Clean and acceptableMotor Vehicle Record (MVR)



    • Basic knowledge oftruck maintenance and repair, including identifying and reporting any mechanical or electrical issues



    • Possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, cooperative attitude, strong attention to detail and can work in a team environment.



    • Adheres to the company's employee handbook policies and embodies the organization's core values.



    • Complete company compliance and safety training when required.



    • Ability to work a flexible schedule and work under pressure in a fast-paced work environment.



    • Physical requirements for this role include, but are not limited to the following:



    • Driving forlong durations



    • Bending, squatting, kneeling, and lifting a minimum of 50lbs when unloading and securing cargo.
