Supports accurate clinical documentation, charge capture, and supply utilization within perioperative services. This role utilizes clinical expertise to review patient records within the Epic electronic health record to ensure implants, supplies, medications, and procedural services are accurately documented and charged.
Collaborates with surgical staff, anesthesia teams, materials management, supply chain, and financial services to optimize surgical preference cards, validate supply usage, and maintain compliance with hospital charging and documentation standards. The position also provides education to perioperative staff regarding proper clinical documentation and charge capture workflows. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which services will be provided or current multi-state Registered Nurse license through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC). EXPERIENCE: 1. Three (3)years of experienceas RN PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Bachelor of Science in Nursing 2.
