Purchasing Manager - Hot Stampings

The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for overseeing the Sourcing, development, and businesses maintenance of key vehicle systems, ensuring they meet quality, performance, cost, and timing targets. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to maintain system integration and compliance with internal control regulations.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:



  • Lead the purchasing strategy for assigned vehicle systems, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality sourcing
  • Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiating contracts to optimize cost, quality, and delivery
  • Guarantee the conformity to internal control system rules
  • Work closely with global and regional suppliers to enhance supply chain resilience
  • Work with engineering, R&D, quality, and manufacturing teams to align purchasing activities with vehicle development
  • Oversee budget planning and cost tracking for purchasing activities
  • Support cost-reduction initiatives, improving efficiency across sourcing and procurement processes
  • Lead and mentor a cross-functional purchasing team, ensuring alignment with the company goals
  • Work with manufacturing and quality teams to address supplier quality concerns and implement corrective actions


Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering
  • 10+ years of experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on interior and/or body components
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive purchasing strategies in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Highly proactive and visionary, with a track record of driving innovation and continuous improvement
  • Ability to communicate effectively with international teams and suppliers
