Details	The students overall focus will be on research activities related to precipitation estimation, hydrometerology, remote sensing and data-driven modeling. Duties may include acquiring, organizing and processing meteorological and hydrologic datasets. Specifically it may involve performing quality control and preliminary analysis of ground-based radar, and satellite data, develop or learn to use existing python scripts for data analysis and visualization, review literature and assist preparing figure, tables and summaries for our weekly meetings and publications. Must be detail oriented and comfortable working independently. Applicants MUST have been enrolled as a student at a college or university in the 2026 academic year.
