What You Will Do:
GFT is seeking a Principal Project Manager to join our Transit & Rail team in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Project Manager or Deputy Project Manager for FTA/FRA funded projects involving Bus Facilities, Bus Rapid Transit, Light Rail, Heavy Rail Rapid Transit, or Commuter Rail. The position is responsible for coordinating and reviewing the work of engineers and planners working in diverse disciplines to design and plan major transportation infrastructure. The position requires good verbal and writing skills and ability to successfully interact with clients and federal agency oversight. Work includes corridor planning, alternatives analysis NEPA documentation, project scheduling, and funding applications. Some travel necessary. Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $250,000 - $275,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
