Description Maine Medical Center Per Diem/As Needed The Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit in Sanford is a 40 bed, locked unit that provides a24 hourtreatment program designed to provide care for adults ages 18-95 in acute psychiatric crisis. The multidisciplinary team treats individuals experiencing major mental illnesses and addiction related problems. The program includes voluntary and involuntary levels of care. Our team of mental health professionals plan and work together with the patient to provide psychiatric care, medical treatment, support, referral for follow-up care, and opportunities for learning and emotional growth. Additionally, we have a full-time Nurse Educator on-site foradditionalsupport and further learning opportunities forall ofour staff. Self-Scheduling.Per Diem Requirements:Minimum of 6 Shifts per8 weekscheduling period *This role may be eligible for Per Diem incentive Premium of $2.50 per hour* Please Note:If you are currently licensed in New Hampshire, you do not need to change licensure! Position Summary The Registered Nurse II - Acute Care - MMC BID SAN roleis responsible forthe management of patient care, including clinical nursing practice/caring, leadership, management, professionalism, and growth/development, as well as the independent assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
